Welcome to the HobbyTown National Model Contest sponsored by BanDai! Local winners will receive prizes and will move on to compete at the national level for cash and national recognition!

Everyone is encouraged to bring their best, completed models of cars, aircraft, military, Gundam, trains and dioramas to HobbyTown in Alamosa on November 17th. This event is hosted by HobbyTown stores across the country!

The categories are:
VEHICLE including street cars, hot rods, trucks, and motorcycles.
AIRCRAFT all scales
MILITARY including armor, military vehicles, ships
DIORAMAS including figures and scenes
GUNDAM judged by grade if entry volume dictates
SCI-FI including rockets, space, star wars, and related figures
RAILROAD including buildings, scenes, and rolling stock
JUNIOR 15 years and younger on judging day

All participants will go home with a gift or prize from HobbyTown!

What do you need to do?
1- Have, build, or finish one or more models for the above categories.
2- Show up on November 17th between 11am and 1pm to register.
3- Stick around for judging, or come back by 4pm for awards!

Entry Fee:
$5 for your first entry
$3 for each additional entry
All fees go toward prizes and running the event.
No more than two entries per category, please. You may enter multiple categories though!

Contest Day Schedule:
11am – 1pm = Registration and Entry
1pm – 3pm = Judging
4pm = Awards
5pm = Pick-Up

First, Second, and Third place will be awarded in each category.
Best of Show, Best Gundam, Best Paint, and Best Junior will be awarded.

Winner models will be on display at HobbyTown through Christmas (with the permission of the owner) for local recognition.
